TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following expressions have the following meanings:
'' Artist'' refers to Eleanor Harnden and any member of her team she may work with.
''Client'' refers to the person or persons responsible for making the booking (usually the bride) and may be referred to as “you” in these Terms and  Conditions.                                                                                                                                      

"Writing" includes email but does not include texts or other forms of electronic communication.                                          

"Person" means the individual receiving makeup services.

Reservations and Deposits:


To secure your date whether for a wedding or other event a non-refundable and transferable deposit is required. When booking, without this deposit your date will not be reserved, unless otherwise agreed by Eleanor Harnden in writing. See details on the Price List.

Booking confirmations will be sent via email correspondance to the person making the booking who will be presumed to be the Client unless otherwise agreed. This confirmation will be sent once the deposit has been received by Eleanor Harnden. Once booking confirmation has been issued to you the date for your event is secure.

After the deposit has been paid, the numbers of persons that have been confirmed may only be increased or amended with the agreement of Eleanor Harnden. Any increase in fee will have to take account of the change in the number of people and the amount of work involved and additional time and Artists required to provide the service agreed.

 If the number of persons is reduced, the final fee will be based on the numbers agreed at the time the deposit was paid.

Payment:

​

Full payment of the remaining balance is due four weeks prior to your wedding date. An invoice will be sent to you for this payment.

​

The deposit will be deducted from the final balance. Payment of the deposit confirms that you agree to the full terms and conditions for the services provided by Eleanor Harnden and her Artists.

Cancelations:

​

The full cost of a booking is incurred if a cancellation is received less than 6 weeks before the Event.

Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email.

DESTINATION WEDDING BOOKINGS

​

Travel:

​

​

For bookings outside the mainland UK, Eleanor's accommodation expenses within the mainland UK will be charged for if Eleanor needs to leave her home before or at 6:30am.

Alongside all travel including but not limited to - trains, flights, boats and transfers leaving the mainland UK.

​

When travel consists of flying to the destination, airport parking and transfers are to be covered within the quote provided.

 

Eleanor will always find the most cost effective transport route possible.

Accommodation:

​

​

Accommodation for a minimum of two nights is required within a 15 minute drive of the Clients getting ready location.

​

Additional accommodation expenses at the destination of the Event may also be incurred however all accommodation expenses will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.

 

Accommodation should be at least a 3-star standard.

​

​

For all bookings outside of mainland UK, there is potential of travel delays, cancellations and unforeseen circumstances that prevent travel. If the unexpected arrises, Eleanor is not liable. 

Eleanor will always endeavour to find an alternative option where possible.

​

Eleanor accounts for possible delays when planning all journeys and will always discuss her route with the client before securing the booking.
